RATIONALE
ESG or Environment, Social and Governance is here to stay. Accounting for ESG has now become a norm for many organizations particularly in the investment community. It is expected that businesses take a responsible approach not only on ensuring profit but in ensuring the welfare of their employees, stakeholders, wider society and the environment.
Central in achieving ESG excellence is the involvement of an organization’s entire workforce. As such, HR professionals play a key role in driving the ESG agenda in their organization.
OBJECTIVE
In this seminar-workshop we will explore how HR contributes to ESG and how ESG can be integrated into the HR strategy.
At the end of the workshop it is expected that the participants will have a better understanding of ESG, their roles in shaping their organization’s ESG agenda and a concrete plan on how to implement this in their respective organizations.
