Phnom Penh, Cambodia: From August 26-29, 2024, in the dynamic and vibrant city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where history meets modernity, ADFIAP, led by its Secretary General, Mr. Enrique Florencio, is currently conducting an intensive in-house seminar-workshop on “Embedding Sustainability into the Corporate DNA” for the esteemed ARDB Bank. The main goal of this engaging training is to craft a comprehensive sustainability roadmap, setting ARDB Bank on an exciting journey towards a future of sustainable development.
Throughout this innovative and results-driven 4-day program, the participants, consisting of 25 “think tanks” or top-level executives from the ARDB Bank, are currently engaging in the seminar-workshop. Together, they are collaboratively crafting a principle-based SR plan, a transformative blueprint that all institutions under the ARDB Bank can adopt and execute. This forward-looking plan serves as a novel means of communication with stakeholders, funders, and other interested parties, showcasing their EESG (Environmental, Economic, Social, and Governance) performance impact in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

These initiatives are designed to reduce their ecological impact, empower communities, and capitalize on new opportunities to foster a greener and more sustainable future.
Ms. Sandra Honrado, Group Head of the ADFIAP Institute (AI), also presented the institute’s training programs highlighting the Fellow in Development Banking program. This program is for the senior executives of development banks and is set to commence just before the International CEO Forum in Bali, Indonesia, which will be held from November 6-8, 2024.
